Hunter’s Education
Requirement:
A person born after Jan. 1, 1972, who has not taken a hunter education course must do so before purchasing an Iowa hunting license. (Source: Section 483A.27 of the Iowa Code.)
2026 Class:
First class of 2026 is Thursday, March 3rd from 6-9pm & Saturday, March 7th from 8-3:30pm. Both classes’ attendance are required and will be held at the clubhouse. You may sign up at the Iowa DNR website.
The second class will be held this fall, the date to be determined.
